Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged suicide has triggered a never seen before revolution in the country, people are targetting nepotism and are trolling star-kids brutally. The dynamics of the film industry have completely changed. Sushant's demise has taken a form of controversy as a large part of the society holds the opinion that Sushant's alleged suicide was conspired. And two names, which are heared fequently in this whole ruckus is Sushant's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and fimmaker, Mahesh bhatt. Mahesh Bhatt was summnoned by Mumbai police for questioning. After a series of nationwide fan protests and demands of a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged suicide, his family, who lives in Patna, filed an FIR against his rumoured girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. On July 28, 2020, Sushant's father filed FIR and accused Rhea of abetment to suicide, alleging that she cheated him financially and mentally harassed him. A four-member team of Patna Police has already left for Mumbai to probe the case.
Fimmaker, Mahesh Bhatt was questioned at the Santa Cruz police station. According to reports flashed in the ET Times, the filmmaker told the Mumbai police that he had met the actor only twice. He said, "I don't support nepotism. I have given so many newcomers their first chance. I have met Sushant Singh in person only twice, once in 2018 about my book and again in 2020." According to reports, Bhatt also said that he had never asked actor Rhea Chakraborty to leave her boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput. In his words, "I have never said anything to Rhea about leaving Sushant or anything like that. Rumours about this are baseless."
According to the Mumbai police, statements of around 40 people, are recorded in the probe of SSR's alleged suicide uptill now, including film critic, Rajeev Masand, director-producer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, filmmaker, Aditya Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput's cook, Neeraj Singh, domestic help, Keshav Bachner, manager, Deepesh Sawant, creative manager, Siddharth Ramnathmurti Pithani, sisters, Neetu and Meetu Singh, television actor, Mahesh Shetty (SSR's best friend), casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, business manager, Shruti Modi, PR manager, Ankita Tehlani, actor Rhea Chakraborty, and two former employees of Yash Raj Films, are also among others, who have recorded their statement.
In the wake of statements made by Mahesh Bhatt on Sushant Singh Rajput, it is pertinent to remind you that some days ago, Mahesh Bhatt's former associate had penned down a note for Rhea Chkaraborty, over how Bhatt had seen signs of 'Sushant slipping away' and had cautioned Rhea to maintain a little distance from him. Although, the post was deleted afterwards. Mahesh Bhatt's associate, Suhitra Das' deleted, controversial post can be read as "When the world will be pouring grief for Sushant Singh Rajput and expressing shock and condolence, I stand by you firm and strong. Having been a silent spectator to your impossible attempts at trying to keep him together and going.... it is my moral duty as a mother and a citizen of this country to tell once and for all that clinical depression is a catastrophe that medical science has no solution or answer to." Suhrita's note further emphaisised on how one evening, Mahesh Bhatt had seen signs of Sushant slipping away and had warned Rhea to walk away from him. Her note read as "Every time you came running to the office to seek counsel from Bhatt Saab or spoke to him on the phone, I've seen your journey, your struggle. Can't forget the evening in Sushant's terrace when it almost felt like everything was normal in the world while deep within he was slipping away. Sir saw that that's why he shared the very words his Master UG told him warning him about Parveen Babi, "walk away or this will take you down under along with." You gave your everything and more; you did more much more than your bit woman. Love you, my Jalebi. Stay strong."
