It takes no time for a picture of our Bollywood celebs to go viral, and it takes even less time for the speculations and trolls to arise from that picture. The same happened in the year 2017 with the picture of two friends (apparently) having a conversation while enjoying their cigarettes (CHECKOUT)
We are talking about none other than the chocolate boy and the most eligible bachelor of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and the mesmerising beauty and Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan. The love life of this heart-throb is always under the scrutiny of the media glare and he is always in news for his relationships.
After Ranbir broke up with Bollywood's chikni chameli, Katrina Kaif, it was rumoured that the actor had found love in Raees actress, Mahira. Mahira was in headlines when she got banned from working in India after she worked in Shah Rukh Khan starrer film, Raees. And then her leaked pictures with Ranbir gave rise to the speculations of the love growing between the two actors. After these leaked pictures got viral on the internet, Ranbir released a statement talking about his relationship with Mahira and said:
"I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love. PS: Both smoking and hate are injurious to health.”

Recently in an interview, Mahira was asked if she is in love, to which she retorted:
“No, actually. No, I have been, I was. Now, I realise that love is peace. Love is when you are with somebody and it’s okay and you don’t have to talk. Their presence is important.”
She further added:
"Through the times of turbulence, through the joys, through the ups and downs, through the mistakes we make and all the success we get, let nobody… nobody’s opinion define who you are. And if anybody defines who you are, let it be yourself. Including me and all the women out there, we’re all worth it!”
Recounting how her viral picture became a “national topic and debate”, she said:
"That was the first time in my entire career that I was caught up in a so-called controversy and it was strange because there were so many things in that. One, obviously you feel violated, you are in a personal down time moment and someone has just photographed you."
