Malaika Arora is mourning the loss of her father, Anil Mehta, who passed away on September 11, 2024. On September 23, 2024, Malaika Arora and her family hosted a prayer meet for her father, and the meet's glimpses were heartwrenching.
While scrolling through our social media page, we came across a video in which Malaika Arora looked visibly heartbroken as she greeted guests at her father, Anil Mehta's prayer meet. The emotional weight of the day was palpable as Malaika Arora, dressed in a white-hued salwar suit with black thread embroidery, greeted the guests with folded hands and hugged them as people consoled her for the loss.
Arjun Kapoor has been a constant support for Malaika Arora and her family ever since the latter's father suddenly passed away. For the unversed, Malaika Arora's father, Anil Mehta, committed suicide as he jumped from the sixth-floor balcony. At the prayer meet, Arjun Kapoor looked sombre and devastated as he attend it dressed in a white-hied tee-shirt and black trousers paired with a cap.
Kareena Kapoor was also dressed in a white-hued salwar suit at the prayer meet. The actress looked quite reserved as she directly went in the venue to be beside Malaika and her family.
A day after Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Mehta's demise, the police took his body for post-mortem. According to a report in News18, it has been revealed that the post-mortem was conducted on the night of September 11, 2024, at around 8 pm. A source revealed that in the report, it was mentioned that the cause behind Anil's death was multiple injuries caused due to the impact of the fall.
