Malaika Arora Is 'Super Proud' Of Son, Arhaan As He Embarks On A New Journey, Pens An Emotional Note

As Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan's son, Arhaan Khan embarks on a new journey, his doting mommy penned an emotional note for him.

Tagged as one of the coolest moms, Malaika Arora dotes on her son, Arhaan Khan. She is not just an inspiration to her million fans but is also a superwoman, who has aced the role of a mother and has always been there for her 18-year-old son. In 2016, when Malaika Arora Khan had decided to drop 'Khan' from her surname after announcing her separation from actor, Arbaaz Khan, their fans were in complete shock.

After 18 years of togetherness, the couple was granted divorce in 2017. And after the divorce, Malaika was given the custody of their son, Arhaan. When Arhaan had turned 17 in 2019, Malaika had shared a collage of pictures with him and had written, "N just like that my baby boy turns 17. our firstborn. You are my strength and my weakness Arhaan and just the most loving, understanding and sensible. LOVE YOU (I will always grab you for my share of hugs n kisses. deal with it)."

A few moments back, Malaika took to her IG handle and posted a picture with Arhaan, looking out of the window, with their backs facing the camera. Along with the picture, the doting mommy penned an emotional note for her boy as he embarks on a new journey. Her note can be read as "As we both embark on a new n unchartered journey, one filled with nervousness, fear, excitement, distance, new experiences …all I know is that I am super duper proud of you my Arhaan. This is your time to spread your wings n fly n soar n live all your dreams… miss you already #allmine." Malaika also posted a picture of Arhaan bidding goodbye to their pooch, Casper at the airport. Atop the picture, Malaika wrote, "Goodbyes are just the hardest."

It seems like Arhaan Khan has jetted off to pursue his higher studies, however, before leaving, the star kid had an intimate lunch with his parents, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan over the weekend. The trio was joined by Malaika's sister, Amrita Arora and their mother, Joyce. The paparazzi captured the family after their lunch date.

When Malaika had appeared in the celebrity cooking show, Star vs Food, the actress had revealed that she didn't know cooking, and it was for her son, Arhaan, that she learned how to cook. Talking about how often she cooks, Malaika said, "Whenever I get the time. My son loves it actually, he likes. I actually started cooking because of him. He once came back from school and he told me, 'Mumma, all the other parents cook such yummy stuff and you don't know to cook, actually that was one of my challenges that I took up when I said, you know what, I will show you and I can do this! So, I cook for him pretty often."

On her BFF, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show, What Women Want, Malaika Arora had talked about her divorce and how her son, Arhaan Khan, had reacted to it. Malaika had stated, “We were just two people in a situation where we were making each other extremely unhappy, which was impacting everyone else’s life around us.”

Revealing how her son, Arhaan, had reacted to his parent's divorce, Malaika had said that with time, he has become far more accepting and flourishing. And he can also see the difference as to how happy his parents look now. Malaika had also recalled how her son, Arhaan, had told her once that "Mom, you look happy", a few months after their divorce.
