Malaika Arora was spotted leaving her parents' house late at night, and she was accompanied by her ex-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor.
Malaika Arora has been grieving the loss of her father, Anil Mehta, who died by suicide on September 11, 2024. The actress was in Pune due to her work commitments when her father took the drastic step. However, she rushed home upon hearing the tragic news of her father's demise. Malaika's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, was the first one to reach the site after the police and her ex-beau, Arjun Kapoor, also arrived to support her.
Late at night, on September 11, 2024, the Arora sisters, Malaika and Amrita, were seen exiting their parents' home. While Amrita's husband, Shakeel, consoled her and held her tight, Malaika was accompanied by Arjun Kapoor. However, it was Arjun's heart-melting gesture for Malaika that swooned our hearts as he carefully escorted his ex-girlfriend to the car.
Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor also sat in the same car and extended their support to Malaika in these testing times. Meanwhile, Arjun stood at the car's gate and helped the ladies get inside without any trouble. Needless to say, the actor's concern for Malaika was clearly evident as he stayed by her side till late at night and even helped her to get home safely.

On September 11, 2024, Malaika Arora took to her IG handle and shared the first note after her father, Anil Mehta's demise. The picture featured Anil Mehta's photo in the bottom left corner, along with a note which informed about his passing. In the note, Malaika called him a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and their best friend. Adding that their family is in deep shock, Malaika requested privacy in these difficult times. Her note could be read as:
"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by the loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult times. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect."
Earlier, in a report by Pinkvilla, a source close to Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor revealed that troubles have cropped up in the couple's relationship and they have decided to part ways in a dignified manner. The source further mentioned that the duo had a long and fruitful relationship, which is unfortunately over now, but they do not have any bad blood between them. Malaika and Arjun would continue to share the same respect for each other even after parting ways, and they want people to give them space to deal with the emotional moment. The duo respects each other hugely and will continue to be each other's pillars of strength despite them deciding to part ways.
