Malaika Arora is one of the stunning actresses of the glamour world. In a recent interview, the diva revealed how her parents would get affected by her being trolled on social media.
At a time when social media has overpowered the lives of celebrities, keeping personal lives private is a difficult task. And online trolling has become common for them. Malaika Arora is one such celeb, who often gets trolled on social media. Whether it is her relationship with Arjun Kapoor or her choice of clothes, we have often seen the diva being trolled mercilessly.
After being married for 17 years to actor, Arbaaz Khan, Malaika and Arbaaz had announced their separation in 2016 and had got divorced in 2017. After her divorce, Malaika found love again in the arms of actor, Arjun Kapoor and the two are head-over-heels in love with one another. Malaika had been trolled for her age difference with Arjun but the actress didn't let the trolling hamper her.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika shared that although she learned to deal with trolling, it was not the same for her parents as they would get affected by it. Revealing how her parents would come up to her telling what people have commented, Malaika shared:
"My parents would keep saying, 'beta someone said this or that'. And finally, I sat them down and said, 'Enough! Stop reading this garbage. It is complete BS. Please do not focus your energies on this'. At the end of the day, they are parents and they hear something, they get upset. But once I sat them down, that was that. It never ever came up again."
In an earlier interview with The Times Of India, Malaika had opened up about being trolled on social media. Talking about the same, she had said that she doesn’t really care about these trolls and has never taken them to heart. According to her, people will keep on saying something or other as she feels ‘logon ka kaam hai kehna’ and she can’t stop them all.

In January 2022, breakup rumours had made the much-in-love couple, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor's life a mess. After several reports, Arjun had taken to his IG handle and had quashed all the rumours. On January 12, 2022, Arjun had posted a monochrome picture with his girlfriend, Malaika. In the photo, the couple was seen all decked up in their casual best as they had posed next to each other. Arjun had captioned the photo as:
"Ain't no place for shady rumours. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Wish well for people. Love y'all."
Malaika Arora had been in a steady relationship with Arjun Kapoor for more than four years. A few months back, Malaika had shared a note on her IG stories, in which she had asked her people to normalise the age factor in love. Her note could be read as:
“No but seriously. Normalize finding love in your ‘40s. Normalize discovering and chasing new dreams in your 30’s. Normalize finding yourself and your purpose in your 50’s. Life doesn’t end at 25. Let’s stop acting like it does.”
