Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora had talked about the constant trolling on social media and shared how she learned to deal with trolling. However, she added that the situation was not the same for her parents as they would get affected by her getting trolled. She also revealed that her parents would come up to her to tell her about people's mean comments. In her words:
"My parents would keep saying, 'beta someone said this or that'. And finally, I sat them down and said, 'Enough! Stop reading this garbage. It is complete BS. Please do not focus your energies on this'. At the end of the day, they are parents and they hear something, they get upset. But once I sat them down, that was that. It never ever came up again."
