In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Mallika Sherawat talked about her journey from being an ordinary girl in Haryana to being invited by Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos, to her residence in the US.
Mallika Sherawat recently sat down with famous Youtuber, Ranveer Allahbadia for a heart-to-heart conversation about her personal and professional fronts. The actress touched upon a series of interesting phases from her memory lane; while some were hilarious, most were bitter-sweet. During her conversation with Ranveer, Mallika recalled her memorable meeting with the world's third richest person, Jeff Bezos, who is the founder and executive chairman of Amazon.
Opening up about the same, Mallika Sherawat shared that Jeff Bezos’ residence is in Washington D.C., and the billionaire invited her to a party. The actress revealed the kind of person he is in real life. Mallika stated that he is an extremely sharp person who is focused on his work. However, Mallika also added that Jeff Bezos manages work-life balance.
Mallika Sherawat further revealed that the billionaire never works on the weekends as it is his family time, which he dedicates solely to them. Praising Amazon’s executive chairman, Jeff Bezos, for his welcoming nature, Mallika admitted that it was a surreal feeling for her to meet him, considering she was once an ordinary girl from Haryana. She said:
"Focused. Laser sharp focus. On weekends, no work. Only relax, spend time with the family. My interaction with him was at a party where he had invited me. So it was wonderful."
In another recent interview with Hotterfly, Mallika Sherawat talked about her family and shared how she never received any kind of support from them. The actress revealed that when she was born, there was complete silence and mourning in her house because everyone was expecting a boy from her mother. Not only this, Mallika also added that all the family members pressured her mother so much to give birth to a son that the latter went into depression after she had given birth to Mallika.
The stunning actress also added that her mother was just 17 at that time, and she suffered a lot for giving birth to a girl. Further, in the same interview, Mallika Sherawat admitted that her family members considered her as a ‘burden’ while growing up. Talking about the same, Mallika added that it was tough for her to go through all the negativity around her in the family. As a result, she was motivated to make her mark in life, and she indeed achieved with her work in movies like Murder, Hisss, Welcome, Politics Of Love, The Myth, and more.
