Manasi Parekh, who rose to nationwide fame with her stint in the show Sumit Sambhal Lega, is now a National Award recipient. The curly-haired diva won the award for Best Actress for her film, Kutch Express. On October 8, 2024, Manasi Parekh was dressed up in a gorgeous rani pink-hued saree with a long jacket for the National Award ceremony, graced by the president, Droupadi Murmu, along with many dignitaries from all walks of life. Manasi kept her look subtle with statement earrings. Subtle makeup and hair tied in a bun completed her look.
In another photo, the gorgeousness poses with Karan Johar, who also received an award for his film Brahmastra, which starred Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. It was also the film in which the romance brewed, and they found solace in each other. Karan even credited Ayan Mukherji and stated that he is the one, who created the world.
Earlier, in an interview with HT City, Manasi recalled that she was shooting for new film when she received the news. Manasi shared that it took her a lot of time to digest the news. Talking about her journey of working hard for more than two decades in the industry, Manasi was left emotional.
Manasi shared that she is happy that she could produce the movie with her husband. She further expressed her desire to act in more such promising films. Manasi added that winning would bring her more credibility from the audiences and industry people. She acknowledged her daughter's and her husband's support, which helped her achieve her dreams.
Coming back to Manasi's glorious transition from television shows to films is commendable. She began her journey as a supporting actress and gained a lot of love with shows like Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar.
However, she became a protagonist with the show, India Calling as 'Chandini' and became popular among the audiences. Later, she rose to fame with her role in Gulaal. It was her the show, Sumit Sambhal Lega that won her nation wide love.
Talking about Manasi Parekh's personal life, she is married to Parthiv Gohil. While Manasi is a known name in the Hindi film industry, her husband is famous Gujarati singer and musician. The couple shares a strong bond over music and culture. They often come together for different projects. Manasi and Parthiv are blessed with a daughter who was born in 2016.
