Manchu Manoj's sister, Lakshmi Manchu cried on the stage after the actor gave her a surprise visit amid an ugly family fight.
Philanthropist and actress, Lakshmi Manchu cried a river when her brother, Manchu Manoj, surprised her on the stage at the annual fundraising fashion show named 'Teach For Change', which took place in Hyderabad. Lakshmi was taken by surprise when her brother came to the event, which she had no idea about. For the unversed, the related event was about the support given to underprivileged kids and was graced by many stars like Shruti Haasan and Shriya Saran.
Lakshmi was all ready to set the stage on fire at the 'Teach For Change' fundraising fashion ramp walk show. What was supposed to be a glam night for the underprivileged kids turned out to be a moment filled with tears. As seen in the clip, Lakshmi was seen standing on the stage wearing a shimmery gown with her back turned towards the audience. Manoj suddenly was seen walking from behind and hugged her from the back. She was stunned to see him and sat down on her knees, covered her face with her hand and started crying. As seen in the clip, Manoj was seen comforting her.
Lakshmi was totally overwhelmed and gave her brother, Manoj, a hug. He was also seen wiping her tears and was also joined by his wife, Bhuma Mounika. It was an emotional sibling reunion moment as Lakshmi was in her most vulnerable state. Despite the public fight going on in her family, the actress has not lost her focus on the philanthropic work that she has been doing and also goes on to be active in the entertainment domain. Workwise, Lakshmi was seen in the web show, Yakshini and would also be seen in the Telugu movie, Adiparvam. Manoj is also trying to focus on his career despite having personal issues.
The video where Manoj was seen embracing his sister melted the hearts of many. One user wrote, "This is the best video I liked in the Manchu family. After watching the video, when I saw the love between the sister and brother, I felt pain in my heart, tears came in my eyes." Another one commented, "Manchu Lakshmi has raised a step. It is not where to fall but where to fall, it is great that we know.. From today onwards, I am a fan of Lakshmi Manchu." A user even commented, "Every sister has a lot of love for her younger brother."

Earlier, during an interview with Telugu 360, Manoj shared that he had not met his sister for a long time and he was upset because she had arrived late. It was a while back when Manchu Manoj had held a dharna outside his dad, Mohan Babu's Jalpally home after he was denied entry. Tensions arose further when Manoj accused his brother, Vishnu of vandalising his house, and stealing his vehicle when he was in Rajasthan.
