It was indeed the saddest time during the pandemic when weddings were restricted to only 50 people. We were craving human interaction and festivities. But notably, as the situation is getting better, many couples are opting for smaller get-togethers and a curated list of whomever they call family. They are spending more on a dreamlike venue and designer wedding outfits.
This year, most of the soon-to-be brides have planned daytime weddings to take the fullest advantage of the golden hour and click some drool-worthy pictures. But, talking about pictures, a designer lehenga and stunning bridal makeup is all a woman needs to slay on her D-day. We have come across one such gorgeous bride, who had chosen a lavender coloured lehenga from the shelves of celebrity designer, Manish Malhotra. Let us decode her oh-so-beautiful look!

The bride of the week, Saloni Shah had donned a lavender-hued lehenga, which had featured multicoloured embroidery and zardozi work all over it. She had paired her lehenga with the same coloured V-neck choli. To complement her look, Saloni had pinned a sheer dupatta on one side of her shoulder. Her sheer dupatta was bordered by multicoloured intricate design work.
The bride had looked stunning with an emerald diamond neckpiece and a two-tied diamond necklace. Her exquisite jewellery had included a pair of pearl drop earrings, maang teeka, nath and multicoloured bangles. Moreover, what had caught our attention was the unique carnations that made her look so pretty. The bride’s hairstylist, Shradha Luthra, had tied her hair into a sleek bun to give a neat look. Her bun was adorned with pale blue and lilac gypsos flower buds, and the unique colour combination had resembled a unicorn.
Saloni had completed her look with glam makeup. She had opted for shimmery pink eye shadow, thin eyeliner, well-defined eyebrows, blushed cheeks and pink lips. However, her tiny green bindi had added the amp factor to her overall look.

While we were gushing over the bride’s unique colour palette, her groom had also given his bride tough competition. He had picked a peach pink sherwani and had paired it with the same coloured doshala and turban. In addition, he had donned a three-tier pearl necklace and had looked handsome.
On the night of their grand reception, the couple had twinned in blue. The bride had looked astonishing in a cobalt blue lehenga that had silver embroidery designs on it. Her blouse had featured a Queen Anne neckline and sheer full sleeves. Saloni had worn a diamond tiara, a neckpiece and two drop earrings. She had left her tresses open with soft curls and had opted for shimmery makeup.
On the occasion of her haldi, the bride had worn a sea green-hued printed V-neck gown. She had looked gorgeous in her minimalistic matha patti and flower jewellery.
