Mannara Chopra gives an indirect response while avoiding questions about meeting Munawar Faruqui post 'Bigg Boss 17'.
Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqui grabbed headlines for the past couple of months, due to their dynamic equation inside Bigg Boss 17. Despite being strong contenders in the reality show, they were seen sharing a sweet and sour relationship with one another, where in one instance they were good friends and in another, they turned bitter enemies. And now, as the show has finally wrapped up, it seems Mannara isn’t planning on reuniting with Munawar anytime soon.
A paparazzo recently dropped a clip of Mannara Chopra as she was spotted attending a few events in the city. The diva seems to have a busy schedule giving interviews and press conferences post her exit from the BB 17 house. In the clip, Mannara, who looked stunning in a black printed midi dress was asked by the paparazzi if she would be meeting Munawar Faruqui anytime soon. In her response, the actress seemingly dodged a direct answer and could be heard as saying:
“Abhi raat ko 12 baj rahe hain. Main shoot se free hui hoon, mujhe ghar jaana hai. Kal kaam hai subah. Acchi baat hai na, sab busy hain. Sab enjoy kar rahe hain apni nayi journey ko.”

Previously, in an interview with The Times Of India, Mannara Chopra had opened up about her bonding with her former BB17 contestant, Munawar Faruqui. She promptly described him as family and even credited him for being a true friend, who stood by her at all times. However, when she learnt that Munawar had accused her of leaving him uncomfortable with her sudden kiss, the diva was shocked and remarked that she hadn’t seen any such footage. Moreover, she ended up demanding a public apology from the comedian. She mentioned:
“Oh my god! It's a weird statement. There's no footage like this. I don't know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologise to me publicly."
Back on January 31, 2024, Mannara Chopra was papped by the shutterbugs in Mumbai. As usual, they started a fun banter with the actress and informed her about how Munawar Faruqui was hosting a party at his home. The paparazzo then asked Mannara if she too, was invited to the celebration. However, the diva, in her response clarified that she wasn’t aware of any such parties and added that she was neither invited to the same.

In an older episode of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 17, Munawar Faruqui was seen informing co-contestant, Ankita Lokhande about how Mannara Chopra kissed him on his cheeks on Diwali night, leaving him extremely uncomfortable. Revealing how he didn’t talk about it earlier, fearing that it might spoil their equation, Munawar then elaborated:
“Kyunki maine wo hamesha dil me rakha hua tha. Maine bola nahi kyunki uske liye wo awkward ho jayga. Mujhe usko bhi protect karna hai us cheez se. Fir wo pochhne lagi aur dance ke baad jab hum yahan sofe par baithe the tab usne do teen baar kaha ‘Dance mast tha na? Maza aaya na dance me?’ Maine kaha haan theek tha. Fir wo mujhe aise dekhti hai aur kehti hai khadoos."
