Indian weddings are one of the most joyous affairs that last more than three days. It is not just a ceremony that unites bride and groom, it is also a union of two incredible families, who come together to celebrate the new beginnings. It might look tiring, but it is the most beautiful function with age-old traditions that mark the journey of a married couple, which they remember for their entire life. After all, we all had heard our parents say 'uski shaadi mein pta hai kya hua.'

In the last few years, we have seen wedding fashion evolve. Brides don't want to stick to traditional red outfits, but they want to experiment with colours and styles. However, we have never seen a bride incorporating God's motifs in her wedding outfits. Well, the bride of the week not only added goddess, Rukmini's motif on the back of her saree blouse, but she also made her groom wear an outfit with God, Vithhal's motif.

Meet the bride of the week, Pratiksha, who got married to the man of her dreams, Omkar Awhale. The couple had a beautiful Marathi wedding ceremony, and it was an affair to remember. The bride's traditional outfit left our jaws dropped. She looked whimsical in a purple-hued nauvari saree with scallop detailing.

However, the highlight of the bride's outfit was her contrasting cream-coloured blouse with beautiful embroidery. The bride's blouse featured Goddess, Rukmini's portrait at the back of the blouse and on the sleeves, we can see tulsi plant motif. She accessorised her look with a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, a nath with her groom's name and a mathapatti.

On the other hand, the groom also donned a purple and cream-hued anarkali with matching pants. The interesting part about his outfit was God, Vithhal's motif on the back. He accentuated his look with a matching doshala, turban, and purple-hued jutti that completed his look.
