Mark Zuckerberg has joined the league of millions of Facebook users with their relationship status as ‘Married’. The billionaire CEO of Facebook tied the knot with his long time sweetheart Priscilla Chan on Saturday. The wedding took place in Zuckerberg’s courtyard with around 100 or so guests. It was a very private ceremony and the ruby studded wedding ring was designed by the groom himself.
The Silicon Valley and the entire World Wide Web is abuzz with the reports and photographs of Mark’s wedding. Like all of us, Mark promptly changed his relationship status on Facebook to “Married” along with a photograph from the ceremony.
The bride Priscilla Chan was dressed in a stylish, white wedding gown with a lace bodice. A pristine white veil was pinned up in her hair. Mark was very predictably dressed in simple black blazer with a loose black tie and white shirt. Most of us must have imagined this to be the wedding day look of the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Big Week, Big Decisions
Mark and Priscilla studied together at Harvard and have been in a steady relationship since nine years. Mark’s friends and fans were eagerly waiting for the Big Day but the surprise wedding has everybody looking for more and more information.
This has particularly been a Big Week for Zuckerberg, what with a very successful Facebook IPO on Friday, May 18, 2012, the billionaire status and now the wedding. Mark really seems to be riding on high stake ventures. First IPO, now Wedding – Way to go!
