Masaba Gupta took to her Instagram handle to share pictures of her daughter, Matara, celebrating her first 'Holi'.
Holi- The Festival Of Colours is very special for Masaba Gupta and her husband, Satyadeep Misra. This is because they celebrated their first Holi as parents to their little daughter, Matara. The fashion designer took to her Instagram handle to share an array of cute snaps from Matara's first Holi celebrations. It was on October 11, 2024, when Satyadeep and Masaba were blessed with Matara; she is now five months old.
Masaba, a while back, took to her Instagram handle to share a couple of pictures that showcased how the couple together rang in the Holi festival with their darling daughter, Matara. As seen in the first picture, one could see Matara's tiny little feet, and in front of the baby, an earthen plate filled with yellow and orange-hued petals was kept. The next snap was of Matara's furry friend, while Masaba also showcased the snap of a plate filled with kadhi chawal, papad, aloo bhindi and mirchi ka achaar. Masaba captioned her Holi album as:
"Matara’s first phoolon ki holi ( with a side of kadhi chawal, aloo bhindi, with chane aur mirch ka achaar ofcourse ) happy holi everyone! Please eat atleast 3 plates of chaat today."
Satyadeep and Masaba had made a joint announcement post on Instagram to reveal of the arrival of Matara. Masaba shared a cute monochrome snap of her baby's feet and also posted a picture of a white-hued lotus the moon that was against a blue-hued background. Masaba's post revealed that their very special little girl arrived on a very special day. 11.10.2024. Earlier, in an interview with ANI, Masaba's mom, Neena, revealed the bond she had with her granddaughter and said that she never had the feeling of being like a grandmother and wanted her granddaughter to address her by name. In her words:
"I don't feel like a grandmother. In fact, I have told the little one not to call me nabut 'call me Neena."
Masaba and Satyadeep on January 13, 2024 revealed to the world about the name of their baby girl. They called her Matara and, in a post, explained the meaning of the name. Masaba had posted a picture of Matara wearing a golden bracelet that had Matara written over the same. She had even posted an Instagram story and explained the meaning of Matara and how it was pronounced in English and Hindi. Masaba shared, Matara's name was associated with all the cosmic energies of the Hindu gods. Masaba's post read:
"3 months with my Matara. The name embodies the divine feminine energies of 9 Hindu goddesses, celebrating their strength and wisdom. Also, the star of our eyes (sic)."
Well, it was on April 18, 2024, when Satyadeep and Masaba announced to the world that they were soon going to embrace parenthood. They had shared three pictures that showed Masaba resting her head on Satyadeep, to her wearing a white bathroom attire. While sharing the joint note, Masaba wrote:
"In other news - Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (plain salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad."
