Sonam Kapoor’s father-in-law, Harish Ahuja, owns Shahi Exports. India’s largest apparel manufacturer and exporter, Shahi operates in multiple states. Shahi is one of the most preferred garment manufacturers in the world, supplying international brands like Decathlon, Calvin Klein, Gap Inc., Marks and Spencer, Uniqlo, Walmart, and many others. The company owns more than 50 factories in India and over 1 lakh employees.
Shahi was founded by Harish Ahuja’s mother, Sarla Ahuja back in 1974. The idea behind starting Shahi was to provide a stable income and sustenance to women through a home-grown business. Talking about the reason behind his company’s huge success, Harish Ahuja once stated:

According to Bloomberg, the property is close to Kensington Gardens and is 20,000 square feet. The report further stated that Harish’s son, Anand Ahuja, and his daughter-in-law, Sonam Kapoor, are planning to use a section of the property as their home, while the rest will reportedly be converted into apartments.
Other than his recent purchase, Harish Ahuja also owns a luxurious bungalow in Delhi. Spread in an area of 3170 square feet at Delhi’s Prithviraj Road, the mansion is priced at Rs. 173 crores. As per a report published in Business Insider, Harish Ahuja is considered one of the most sought-after Indian business tycoons. The London-based Indian billionaire’s net worth is reported to be Rs. 5,900 crores.
