The former Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had made many headlines when they had renounced their royal titles shortly after their wedding. After giving up their royal life, Harry and Meghan are living their happily-ever-after with their almost-two-year-old son, Archie and are soon going to welcome their second child. It was on May 6, 2019, when Prince Harry had announced that Meghan Markle had given birth to their first child, a baby boy. Two days after the birth of their first child, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had shared the first glimpses of their baby boy on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official IG handle. (Also Read: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Son Archie's RARE PHOTO, Her Friend Shared And Deleted It Later)

Before sharing the pictures, the very same day, Harry and Meghan had stepped out for a photo at St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle, giving the first appearance with their baby boy. It’s been almost-two-years since their baby’s birth and the parents are keeping their son, Archie, away from the limelight. Of late, Meghan Markle is in the news for her startling statements in a conversation with Oprah Winfrey about her life in the royal palace, how she was treated and addressing all the reports doing rounds about her misconduct with the royals and their staff. Amongst all this, Meghan also made a startling statement about how her first child was denied the title of a ‘prince’ by the royals.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie is the only royal baby, who is not a prince and in a conversation with Oprah Winfrey, the former Duchess of Sussex revealed the reason for the same. The former actress revealed that her son, Archie was denied the title of a prince before he was born because of racism. Meghan told Oprah that the royals had a discussion with Harry before the birth of their son, Archie and he was denied the Prince title because they were concerned about his dark skin colour might be. She said, “They didn’t want him to be a prince.” She further added how there were “conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

The former actress also revealed that she was silenced by ‘The Firm’. Meghan accused the British Royal family of racism, lying and cornering her to the extent that she had become suicidal. Meghan's mother is black and father is white and she shared that she was naïve before she had married into the Royal family in 2018. She revealed how she had suicidal thoughts and how her husband, Harry helped her out. She said, “I just didn’t want to be alive any more. And that was a very clear and real and frightening constant thought. And I remember how he (Harry) just cradled me.” (Recommended Read: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reveal The Gender Of Their Soon-To-Be-Born Second Child)

Well, Harry and Meghan are all set to become parents for the second time and on the occasion of Valentine's Day 2021, the couple had delighted their fans with the announcement of their second pregnancy. For the uninitiated, Meghan Markle had undergone a miscarriage last summer. In her long essay in the New York Times, Meghan had poured out her feelings about the same and had written, "Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few. In the pain of our loss, my husband and I discovered that in a room of 100 women, 10 to 20 of them will have suffered from a miscarriage. Yet despite the staggering commonality of this pain, the conversation remains taboo, riddled with (unwarranted) shame, and perpetuating a cycle of solitary mourning. Some have bravely shared their stories; they have opened the door, knowing that when one person speaks truth, it gives license for all of us to do the same." (Must Read: Meghan Markle Honors Husband, Prince Harry's Mother, Late Princess Diana As She Wears Her Bracelet)
