In an interview, Meghana Raj opened up about the recent online trolling that she had faced upon sharing a video of herself gorging upon a burger post her hubby, Chiranjeevi's demise. Check out!
South Indian actress, Meghana Raj had tied the knot with one of the most beloved actors in Tollywood, the late Chiranjeevi Sarja in April 2018, according to Christian and Hindu traditions. Since then, the childhood sweethearts were living a blissful life together. However, on June 7, 2020, the actor had suffered a massive heart stroke at the mere age of 39 and left for the heavenly abode. At that devastating moment of her life, Meghana was pregnant with their child and gave birth to their son, Raayan Raj Sarja on October 22, 2020.
The loving wife, Meghana Raj never misses a single chance to recall her darling husband, late Chiranjeevi Sarja but also fulfils all kinds of responsibilities of a doting mother. She keeps sharing adorable glimpses of her son, Raayan Raj Sarja on her Instagram handle. For instance, on June 15, 2022, she had taken to her IG handle and dropped a video with her son, wherein, the mother-son duo was seen pronouncing 'amma' repeatedly. However, at the end of the video, even after his mother said 'amma', Raayan pronounced 'appa', which was simply unmissable. Sharing the beautiful video, Meghana had penned:
"Here we go...AGAIN! #sonshineseries #chiranjeevisarja #raayanrajsarja."

In a candid conversation with BollywoodBubble, Meghana Raj opened up about her life post her husband, Chiranjeevi Sarja’s demise. She mentioned that the traumatic incident had happened to her and their family, and the first thing she did was to call her gynaecologist. She explained that their then-to-be-born child was the most precious thing about the late actor she had to hold on to. Recalling the moments from the fateful day, Meghana said:
"I have seen life and death in a matter of five months. I think firstly the trauma was not welcome it just happened and it took time for me to deal with it. More importantly when the incident happened, I don’t know how it, medically or biologically how it happens I don’t know but motherly instincts kich in very soon. I have said this earlier that the first thing I did after I heard the news was to call my gynaecologist. As I had to hold on to the most precious thing about Chiru and that’s our child. I will do anything in this world, anything under the sky to make sure that Raayan was okay.”
In the same conversation, Meghana mentioned that her husband, Chiranjeevi has acted like a guardian angel for her after his death. In this way, the actress was never criticised for everything she did post his demise. She also called her pregnancy and her son, Raayan's birth the most positive incident in her life. She also opened up about all the negativity in the digital world and mentioned:
“Honestly, no. I did not face any kind of negativity at that point of time. I think in a way Chiru shielded me then also. The way he shielded me is so magical if not for Raayan I think I would have gotten all the negativity in the world. I feel somehow I didn’t face any kind of negativity but I do not react kindly when I look at other people you know in similar situations being criticised for what they’re doing because none of us knows anyone’s story completely. It’s easy to comment on social media because it’s you’re just typing, you’re just thinking and you’re putting it out there. You’re not living the life of the other person who’s actually breathing every second and going through that emotion. It’s very easy for me also when I look at somebody wearing something I’ll be like I don’t think she has any (problem), look at her dress, ‘oh if she’s wearing this that means she has no problem in life.’ How do your clothes define what problems you have in life?”

To this, one user had commented by claiming that she has completely forgotten her husband, Chiranjeevi and had trolled her. To this, the doting wife reacted by saying that she doesn't have to prove anyone anything in this matter and shared:
“There has been not equal share but lesser a percentage of people who have tried to poke me. Just very recently I had put up a post like when I was eating something, I was eating burgers, I was like continuously eating so it was my binge day and it was a random decision that I’m going to put it on social media. Then some random comments saying ‘oh so now you don’t remember Chiru at all’ I’m like I don’t have to prove it to you brother I really don’t have to prove it to you whether I remember him I think of him it’s completely up to me. I don’t have to every single day put up a post saying, I’m doing this, I’m eating this, I’m remembering this person I’m following this person or doing this, I don’t have to. I don’t have a legal contract with anyone to do that.”
Chiranjeevi Sarja will always be treasured in his wife and family's hearts!
