'Mera Naam Joker' Actor, Satinder Kumar Khosla Passes Away At The Age Of 84 Due To Cardiac Arrest

On September 12, 2023, veteran actor, Satinder Kumar Khosla, best known for his stint in 'Sholay', 'Anurodh' and others, breathed his last at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Veteran actor, Satinder Kumar Khosla, popularly known as Birbal, left for the heavenly abode on September 12, 2023. He was immensely loved by his fans for his comic characters. Despite working in more than 500 films over the years, Satinder's role as a prisoner with a half-cut moustache in the film, Sholay, and that of a drug addict in the movie, Anurodh are unerasable from his fans' minds. Apart from this, he is also remembered for his characters with the distinctive look, featuring a bald pate and a thick moustache.

Legendary actor, Satinder Kumar Khosla dies at 84 due to cardiac arrest

On September 12, 2023, Satinder Kumar Khosla breathed his last at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in Mumbai. His close friend, Jugnu confirmed the news of his death to ANI. Satinder suffered from cardiac arrest before passing away on Tuesday evening. As per reports, his last rites will be performed today, on September 13, 2023.

Satinder Kumar Khosla's professional front

Born in 1938 in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Satinder Kumar Khosla is known for his comic roles onscreen. In his career spanning several decades, he has acted in more than 500 movies in Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, and Bhojpuri languages. It was in 1967 when he got his first breakthrough role in the film, Boond Jo Ban Gayee Moti, co-starring Jeetendra and Mumtaz in the leading roles and helmed by V Shantaram. Afterwards, in the same year, Satinder made his debut with the film, Upkar. Afterwards, he worked in many films, including Kranti, Amar Prem, Betaab, Sadma, Yaarana, Aradhana, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Anurodh, Gambler, Bol Radha Bol, Mera Naam Joker, Karz, and Mr and Mrs Khiladi, among others.
