Milind and Ankita had a close-knit Assamese wedding on April 22, 2018 with only close friends and family members being a part of the ceremony. While previous reports and pictures of the couple kept us waiting and guessing if they are actually getting married anytime soon, Milind and Ankita decided to keep their wedding away from media and did not formally announce their wedding, apart from a few pictures giving us clues about what was in store in the near future.
Milind Soman was already going through a rough patch in his love-life after his divorce with his Valley of Flowers actress, Mylene Jampanoi in 2009. Several women came into his life but nothing had worked out for him until he met his dream girl, Ankita Konwar 4 years ago. Since then, happiness and enthusiasm in life has taken a front seat for both of them as no criticism or troll seemed to affect them.

Neither Milind nor Ankita ever came out in public to talk about their relationship. Their only way of pouring in love for each other, giving us relationship goals, or banishing break-up rumours was to silently post heart-warming pictures and messages for each other. Milind never failed to encourage his girl through his posts and Ankita too, reverted by posting more pictures on social media.
The duo danced their hearts out on their haldi. Checkout their cool video here:
Since the world started to know of their relationship, netizens started trolling the duo (which often led to accuses) that Milind, 52 is dating a girl who is 18 years old. These rumours were later on rubbished as Ankita very nicely made it clear to her and her then boyfriend’s fans and followers by posting a beautiful picture of them playing Holi where she wrote:
“Played with colours for the very first time in 27 years, followed by a fantastic 11k run in 60 minutes !! Wish you all a wonderful Holi!!#colours #holi #thefestivalofcolors #muchfun”
Hence, proved!
Ever after being a victim of repeated trolls, the couple silently kept on posting pictures of the duo with beautiful captions.

Milind, often called the ‘Marathon Man of Bollywood’ is a fitness freak like we can see. It was not long before he instilled the same fitness bug in Ankita and she too started participating in Pinkathon and other fitness runs alongside Milind, grabbing various medals and eyeballs. Milind’s mother, Usha Soman, aged 78, is a fitness freak like him and still participates in runs alongside her son.
It was a pleasant Saturday noon (April 21, 2018) when we saw beautiful pictures of Milind and Ankita, dancing, posing and smiling together with turmeric paste all over their face, up surging the internet. Netizens immediately started stalking the Instagram profiles of the duo, but no information was found on their personal Instagram accounts. However, close friends and relatives were sweet enough to keep on posting pictures and videos of the duo dancing to Guru Randhawa’s superhit, Ban Jaa Tu Meri Rani and we could catch a glimpse of Milind and Ankita looking mesmerising together. It was Ankita’s beautiful floral jewellery and her dark mehendi which took our breathe away.

“Posing & moving in a shararaa & crop top! #MilindAnkitaShaadi #mixandmatch #bravingtheheat #alibaug”
On 22nd April, 2018, Milind and Ankita tied themselves in the bond of holy matrimony and vowed to each other to forever be in love. Their marriage took place in Alibaug. It seems that the couple had a mixed wedding style. While Milind sported an off-white dhoti-kurta, Ankita wore a plain off-white saree and teamed it up with a signature Maharashtrian nathni and a half-moon bindi. Milind’s mother, Usha Soman wore a simple maroon saree and looked beautiful.
