Mira Kapoor shared a dreamy video, compiling all the special moments of Shahid Kapoor and her as they celebrate nine years of togetherness.
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor are one of the hottest couples on the block, who never miss a chance to shed pure goals with their constant love and support for each other. The couple tied the knot on July 7, 2015, via an arranged marriage setup, and they even have a fourteen-year age gap. Despite all the odds, the duo have always stood strong and proved that arranged marriages can also be magical.
To celebrate her ninth anniversary with Shahid Kapoor, his dear wife, Mira Kapoor, shared a special on IG. In there, she compiled several special moments shared between the duo, and the visuals were truly magical. Sharing the video, Mira penned:
"You're the one I… Happy 9, love of my life @shahidkapoor."

Shahid Kapoor met Mira when he had given up on love. The duo met via their religious leader, and soon, their family arranged their marriage. The couple got married after briefly getting to know each other, and soon, in August 2016, they welcomed their daughter, Misha, into the world. Their small family was completed in 2018 when their little boy, Zain, entered their life.

Shahid first met Mira when she was just twenty years old, and the duo hit it off really fast despite their vast age gap. Shahid shared that he really liked Mira's eyes when he first met her and felt like she may be the one with whom he could get married, but he rebuked himself as Mira was very young. In Shahid's words:
"I realised her eyes were not dark. They had hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad mein iss ladki se shadi kar sakta hoon. But I told myself, 'What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam."
