Shahid Kapoor and Mira had headed off for a mini-vacation to Goa and the star-wife has been giving glimpses of their holiday on her IG stories. In one of her posts, Mira posted pictures in a black knotted bandeau bralette, layered with a cut-out sheer overlay, which she had paired with pink satin joggers, a metallic bucket bag and cowrie-embellished flats from Aprajita Toor’s Midnight collection. Mira captioned her post as “When you look at me.” What caught our attention was the comments in which netizens shared that Mira’s pictures reminded them of Kareena. If the reports are to be believed, Shahid Kapoor’s ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan had met his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding in 2018. According to a SpotboyE report, Shahid and Mira had entered the Ambani residence, Antilia for Isha-Anand’s wedding within a few minutes difference from Kareena, Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor. As per the reports, when Kareena and Mira had come face-to-face in the lobby of the Ambani’s residence, the beautiful ladies had put behind their woes and hugged each other. Shahid and Saif, who had worked together in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon, too greeted each other with warmth.
If reports are to be believed, before announcing the news of his wedding with Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor had shared it with his ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan. According to a report by Miss Malini, Kareena had stated, “Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So, he actually told me about him getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally… I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well.” As per another report by Business Standard, Kareena was quoted as saying, "I was aware about his marriage. Shahid had told me he is getting married. I am happy.
