It was on July 7, 2021, when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor completed six years of married life, and to mark their wedding anniversary, the star wife had posted a mushy picture with the love of her life. Expressing how words cannot suffice the love she has for him, Mira had captioned her mushy picture with Shahid as "I love you more than words suffice. Happy 6, my love my life."

Last year, when Shahid Kapoor had resumed his shooting post-lockdown and had jetted off for the outdoor schedule of his film, Jersey, he had dedicated a 'miss you' post for his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. Even though it was a blurred one, it was adorable enough to express how much he misses her. Shahid had captioned the post as "#imissyou" followed by a heart emoji. Mira had commented on his post, "Aren't you glad I didn't put up the #IMissYouToo post."
Mira Rajput Kapoor had also posted a 'miss you' note for Shahid Kapoor after he resumed his work in October 2020. Mira had reshared a post of an artist named Freddy Birdy, which could be read as "The thing I love the most is doing nothing with you" on her IG story. Mira had tagged her star-husband, Shahid on the post with the message "I Miss You" atop it.
