A day before International Women’s Day 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken up the ‘Center of Gravity’ challenge with Shahid Kapoor. The challenge showcases the difference in the centre of gravity between the male and female bodies. So, to give you a brief about what the challenge is, it is very simple as a woman and a man record themselves as they get down on the floor on all fours, like a cat. From their forearms resting on the floor, they move to their elbows with their faces resting on their hands. Then, quickly they clasp their hands at the back and mostly, the men end up hilariously face-planting and the women hold themselves up. But that wasn’t the case with Shahid as he had managed to hold himself up and win the ‘Center of Gravity’ challenge. Sharing the video, Mira had written, “Always up for a challenge, Mr Kapoor. You’re a smooth operator. Nailed it,” followed by a kiss emoji. Ishaan Khatter had commented on the post, “I did it too.”
Then, to mark International Women’s Day 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor had sent love and regards to all the 'women of substance' in her life, including her mother, Bela Rajput, sisters, Priya Tulshan and Noor Wadhwani, mother-in-law, Neliima Azeem, step-mother-in-law, Supriya Pathak, and her househelps. Mira had captioned her post as "Women of substance, women of strength, women of perseverance and women of love; You inspire me! I wouldn’t be me, if it wasn’t for you! Hand in hand, and heart to heart, our strength compounds with the strength in each other. It’s the lionesses that keep the ‘pride’ together. Happy Women’s Day to all of you." It was Mira’s sweet gesture to wish her househelps on International Women’s Day that melted our hearts and even her fans lauded her for including them in her post.

In one of the scenes of his film, Kabir Singh, the hot-headed Kabir Rajveer Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor, could be seen chasing his maid on the streets after she accidentally breaks a glass. When Shahid had appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote the film, he was asked by Kapil if he had ever lost his cool on domestic help in real life. Shahid had revealed that his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had brought an army of househelps to their Mumbai home after their wedding. And unlike the scene in Kabir Singh, Shahid was so afraid to offend his househelps that if he ever breaks a glass, he would apologise to them and offer to clean up.

It was a year after their wedding when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their little angel, Misha Kapoor. Two years later, in 2018, the Rajput-Kapoor family was completed when the stork visited Shahid and Mira with their second child, Zain Kapoor. During an interaction with Zoom Entertainment, Mira had spoken about the aspects of parenting, nurturing a baby and her experience with pregnancy and motherhood. Revealing the parenting tips her mom, Bela Rajput and mother-in-law, Neliima Azeem had in store for her, Mira had said, "A beautiful tip I’ve received and truly practice is nurturing my kids from a young age by teaching them the Indian roots and inculcating a healthy lifestyle. This has helped me and my family to stay healthy and fit through all the seasons. Our Indian kitchen and traditions pose wholesome goodness and health which over the years we’ve lost touch with."
When asked about the best advice she had received when she was expecting, Mira Rajput Kapoor had retorted, "Listen to yourself, listen to your body - that’s the best advice I’ve got." The star-wife didn’t "read or look up anything on the internet" during her pregnancies as she didn't want to be overloaded with information as it would have resulted in stress. Mira had continued, "It was my family who gave all the advice and I relied on them for helping me embrace the change every day. My sisters are moms themselves and they used to give me practical tips along the journey."
