Mira Rajput Shares How She Became 'Punjabi' From 'Sindhi' After Marrying Shahid Kapoor With A Quirk

Mira Rajput had married Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor on July 7, 2015, and had entered into the lives of millions of his fans. Every Shahid Kapoor fan was glued to their TV sets to get a glimpse of their wedding and the gorgeous ‘Delhi-based-girl’. Every girl had envied her, thinking that she could be at her place! However, Mira had entered into our lives, along with Shahid Kapoor and had made a place of her own in our hearts. While keeping her Sindhi traits intact, she absorbed the lifestyle that Shahid’s Punjabi family has to offer, making her the best wife. Now, Mira has shared how she turned into a Punjabi from Sindhi displaying how her food habits have changed. Taking to her IG handle, Mira shared a picture of Sindhi cuisine, Sel Bread and narrated the story of how her Sindhi cuisine has got Punjabi tadka over time. Sharing the mouth-watering picture, Mira wrote, “I’m as Sindhi as my Sel Bread! This is my mother’s version of her favourite childhood Sindhi breakfast. It’s taken a far more Punjabi twist over the years, with lots of tomatoes and onions. My home food is nothing without tomatoes; my maternal home that is. We can have it with just about anything. Mira is what they say, saarv gun sampan. From being a fashionista to being gharelu, from being a party planner to being ‘not a regular mom’, Mira can ace any role she steps into. Her cooking skills are mouth-watering and can make anyone crave to have at least a bite. The gorgeous lady often shares glimpses of her cooking sessions, making us say ‘yum’. For instance, on September 16, 2020, Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a cute story of her afternoon meal. The star wife had cooked beans, but it had an interesting story behind. She had posted a picture of the yummy phali, and had written, "The Humble Phali! The kids actually plucked the beans from the tree growing behind our house. For the Vogue Wedding Book 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had let their fans into their world and had recalled the best moments of their wedding. Sharing that Shahid had promised her to renew their wedding vows, Mira had remarked, “He’s promised me we’re going to do it again!” Recalling his favourite moment from the wedding, Shahid had said, “The Anand Karaj ceremony was my favourite moment from the wedding. It was just a room full of our people, celebrating us, perfect strangers who were going to take this insane journey together. Even though it’s just been four years, a large part of who I am has been formed since the day we got married. We were relieved!
