Pregnancy can be one of the most challenging phases of one's life, and celebrities are not barred from these hiccups of life. In a recent podcast with Prakhar Gupta, Mira Rajput revealed that while she was just 21 during her first pregnancy, it was an extremely difficult phase in her life. In Mira's words:
"Not many people know this, but when I was pregnant with my daughter, it was my first pregnancy. And you are like, oh, I am 21-20, whatever… I am healthy, and I am like very fit and the prime of my life in terms of having kids. What is the worse can happen, and I almost miscarried when I was four months pregnant. Came back and had this sonography and the doctor tells me that lie down right now.”

Mira said that she was four months pregnant when she visited the doctor for a regular checkup and sonography. However, the doctor diagnosed some problems during her pregnancy and immediately admitted her. Things were so severe that Mira had to be in the hospital for two and a half months. Mira said:
"I had already dilated and I was four months pregnant, so he told me, 'You can lose your baby any moment.'"
In the same conversation, Mira added that those days in the hospital took a toll on her mental health, and she hated being there. Shahid understood her plight and intervened. He told the doctor that he would set up a home hospital for Mira where she would get all the care of a hospital in the comfort of her home.
