Manushi Chhillar was the most beautiful maid of honour at her sister's wedding.
Our paths may change as life goes along but our bond as sisters will remain ever strong. When you have a sister, you don’t need anyone else by your side, she will protect you like a father, guide you like a mother and will irritate you like a brother. If you have a sister, you don’t have to worry about anything in life. Sisters don’t need a daily conversation to be aware of what is happening in each other’s lives, a mere look at your face will clear everything to her and she will be there with you. When you achieve something in life, your sister is the happiest person and will never get tired of praising you.
It was in 2017 when the entire nation was glued to their television screens and was praying for India’s victory. No, it was not a cricket world cup final but it was the biggest beauty pageant, Miss World. A then 20-year-old medical student, Manushi Chhillar was representing India at the global level. She was always focused on her studies and wanted to be a doctor but deep down always had a dream to be at a beauty pageant at least once in her life. And not only did she take a part in the pageant, but she also made India proud as she was crowned ‘Miss World 2017’.
