In October 2018, a picture of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame dancer-cum-actress, Mohena Kumari Singh, all decked up in a traditional Rajputana Poshak had surfaced on the internet. This was followed by the speculations about her secret roka ceremony in her hometown, Rewa. But Mohena refuted the rumours. Fast forward to February 2019, Mohena had revealed her ‘mystery’ fiancé when she had exchanged rings with him in Goa. And while we were still getting over how royal Mohena and her fiancé, Suyesh Rawat were looking on their engagement ceremony, October came in no time. Mohena Kumari Singh and Suyesh Rawat’s pre-wedding festivities had begun on October 13, 2019, with a colourful mehendi ceremony, followed by a sangeet night and haldi ritual. Finally, on October 14, 2019, Mohena’s dulhe raja came with band, baaja and baaraat to make her, his forever! Mohena looked every bit of a royal princess in a red Rajputana Poshakh and accentuated her look with traditional jadau jewellery. On the other hand, her groom, Suyesh complemented her well in a beige-hued embroidered sherwani and safa. Suyesh and Mohena became man and wife in Haridwar amidst family and friends, and their wedding was indeed a grand royal affair with more than two lakh guests blessing the couple.

She had said, "My entire wedding trousseau has been finalised by my sister-in-law Yuvrani Vasudhara Raj Lakshmi and by my mother Maharani Ragini Singh. I am pretty much just going to pick-up those bags and go to my new house." Experiences are those things that you cherish for life and you take with you wherever you go. So my dancing, acting and everything are experiences that are packed in a bundle within myself. I am going to take it with myself wherever I go. I am not going to miss acting and dancing as I am not going to leave it. I will always be in touch with Arts and Culture in whatever way I can. I will take it forward and you will see me for sure. I don't know where as that is the mystery I like life like that. I like to live life where I keep surprising myself, my family. That's is why it is not difficult for me to bring changes in my life, I enjoy changes. I follow Gautam Buddha's principle of keeping emotions balanced. I am going to take my dance and arts everywhere I go." Revealing how she brings madness in her now-husband, Suyesh Rawat’s life, Mohena Kumari Singh had remarked, "I will surely bring madness into his life. He is calm and composed whereas I am mad. He gets very entertained looking at me and my friends because we are just so bizarre. We are going to be best friends, for sure and that's fantastic. I am sure it's going to be fun." For the first time ever, speaking about her would-be-husband, Suyesh Rawat, Mohena Kumari Singh had gushed in an interview in TellyChakkar, “I would not like to reveal the identity of my partner, but he is a thorough gentleman and a very normal, down-to-earth, and humble person. He is into a lot of social service.
