Shilpa Shetty, the once jaan of all Indians, married the London-based business tycoon, Raj Kundra, in an extravagant wedding that became the breaking news in the country. Shilpa and Raj’s wedding was a classy affair considering the choice of dresses, venue, menu, and of course the guest list. The bride wore dresses designed by, Tarun Tahiliani, for all the functions and ceremonies. While her groom opted for designers, Shantanu and Nikhil, for all the wedding ceremonies. Shilpa Shetty draped a Rs 50 lakh saree embedded with red Swarovski crystals! When we took a closer look at her jewellery, she was wearing grandiose kundan jewellery studded with uncut diamonds and emeralds that cost INR 3 crore. The daughter of the first family of Indian Cinema, Karisma Kapoor aka Lolo, married Delhi-based industrialist, Sunjay Kapur in 2003, who was her childhood friend. The star-studded wedding took place at RK Cottage in Deonar, according to Sikh rites. Karisma had invited all her co-stars and directors she had ever worked with.
