Mouni Roy Flaunts A Red And Gold 'Banarasi' Saree, Makes Us Impatient To See Her In 'Dulhan Avatar'

Television actress, Mouni Roy looked drop-dead gorgeous in a red and gold 'Banarasi' saree as she visited Sadhguru Ashram in Coimbatore.

Born and brought up in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, the stunning actress, Mouni Roy, is the granddaughter of the famous Jatra theatre artist, Shekhar Chandra Roy. Mouni had joined Bollywood in 2004 as a background dancer in the song, Nahi Hona from the film, Run. However, she rose to fame with her role of 'Krishna Tulsi' in Ekta Kapoor's TV show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. After her stint in the serial, she made her debut in Bollywood with the film, Gold, starring Akshay Kumar.

The Bengali beauty of Indian television, Mouni Roy, has been stealing zillions of hearts with her elegance. However, lately, she has made us fall in love with her all over again as she flaunted her perfectly-toned physique in a red Banarasi saree. The gorgeous actress visited the Amritapuri centre in Kerala to meet India’s spiritual guru, Maa Amritanandamayi and wore a red and gold Banarasi saree.

On October 20, 2021, Mouni Roy took to her Instagram handle and shared a set of beautiful pictures from her visit to Amritapuri. Along with it, she wrote a caption which can be read as “Be the embodiment of LOVE; rest is confetti #AMMAAAday.” She looked drop-dead gorgeous in the pictures and made our hearts skip a beat.

In one of the pictures, Mouni can be seen sharing a warm moment with Maa Amritanandamayi as the latter fondly caressed Mouni while she laid in her lap. Mouni Roy is a blessed girl, and this is not the first time that she has visited the Sadhguru’s ashram in Coimbatore. Being his follower, Mouni Roy often visits the centre of Maa Amritanandamayi, a spiritual guru and humanitarian, who is known as the hugging saint.

Mouni Roy is such a beauty, and with the serene locales of Amritapuri in the background, her pictures became more beautiful. The actress paired her Banarasi saree with a ruffled blouse and accessorised it with jhumkas and a gold choker. Moreover, she opted for a minimal look and tied her hair in a messy bun. And her radiant glow was unmissable!

In the next picture, Mouni revealed her religious side as she posed with a statue of Lord Krishna and Radha. The actress reads the Bhagwad Gita daily and often shares her observations with her fans on her social media handles. She looked beautiful in those pictures and has made us very restless to see her in a bridal avatar now.

Mouni’s fiancé, Suraj Nambiar, has Malayali roots as he is originally from Kerala. So, there are speculations that she made a trip to his hometown. Mouni Roy totally adores her future parents-in-law, and her mom had met Suraj Nambiar at Mandira Bedi’s home. However, rumours suggest that Mouni Roy might tie the knot with her beau, Suraj Nambiar, in January 2022. Earlier, her cousin had told a local paper in West Bengal that they are gearing up for a wedding next year.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mouni Roy had revealed her wedding plans and had said, "I absolutely don't have any plans of getting married right now. That would be one of the happiest days of my life. Once that is about to happen, everyone will know because I'm shouting from the rooftops."
