'Uttaran' actor, Mrunal Jain and his wife, Sweetie are ready to embrace parenthood in 2022. The actor shared some details about his wife's baby shower.
Popular television actor, Mrunal Jain has been a part of hit shows like Nagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, Uttaran and many more. The actor had found love in Sweetie Jain, and the duo had tied the marital knot on June 13, 2013. After completing eight years of marital life in 2021, Mrunal and Sweetie had taken the decision to embrace parenthood and soon, we will hear the giggles of a little one in the Jain house.
Mrunal Jain and his wife, Sweetie are, expecting their first child in January 2022. Therefore, to celebrate the arrival of a little member in their house, the Jain family hosted a baby shower for Sweetie. The baby shower was graced by Mrunal's industry friends, Aasiya Kazi, Kunal Thakkur, Namrata Ramsay, Shardul Pandit and Munisha Khatwani.

In an interview with ETimes, Mrunal Jain shared that Sweetie's baby shower was a close-knit one where all his close people were present to bless the baby. In his words:
“The ceremony was a small get-together of sorts where I wanted my loved ones to shower Sweetie and our child with their love and blessings. It was a memorable experience, as this pregnancy has been much-awaited by my family. Everyone was anxiously waiting for us to become parents and I can’t wait for the arrival of my bundle of joy.”
Going further in the interview, Mrunal Jain opened up on how his mother started the godh bharai rasam for Sweetie. He also revealed the special gift he got for his wife. Talking about the same, he said:
''In the morning, my mom performed the godh bharai ritual at home. There was also a small get-together of family and close friends after which she went to her home. I bought a special gift for Sweetie, which is a diamond ring and lots of love.”

When asked about his excitement on embracing fatherhood, Mrunal Jain shared that he is eagerly waiting to experience this phase of his life as it would be completely different. He explained:
“I am excited as well as nervous at the same time. I am excited about the arrival of the baby and am nervous, too, as it will be a completely different phase with a lot of new things coming our way. Nonetheless, I am prepared and eagerly waiting for the new phase to start.”
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Mrunal Jain had confirmed the pregnancy rumours and had stated that his wife, Sweetie Jain, is pregnant. He had also opened up on welcoming his baby in his birthday month. He had said:
''Our baby is due in January-end. I will wait for my child’s arrival to celebrate my birthday, which is on January 9. I am excited as well as nervous about becoming a father. Everything will soon change. My world will revolve around my little one and I am sure my baby will have me wrapped around its little finger.”
