Aanchal Khurana, the winner of the wedding reality show, 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge' talked the rare connection she shares with Paras Chhabra and his family. Take a look!
The on-going pandemic coronavirus has locked everyone straight into their homes and if anyone dares to think about coming out then he/she will be punished with a hefty penalty. The recent announcement by the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi suggests that the country is going for a full-lockdown for 21 days (April 14). However, these 21 days seem difficult to spend at home but then there are celebrities, who are spending their time while working out, cooking, and cleaning and are putting videos on their respective social media handles. However, the lockdown hasn’t stopped the media from taking interviews of the celebrities through voice call or a video call. One such celebrity is the television show, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke fame, Aanchal Khurana. The actress in her interview talked about her recent show, Mujhse Shadi Karoge co-star, Paras Chhabra and revealed the connection she has with him.
In a recent interview with the Mumbai Mirror, when Aanchal was asked about her connection with Paras Chhabra during the show, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, the actress revealed, “A week is not enough to decide who will be your life partner. But we are good friends now. I was surprised to know that Paras knew me even before I entered the show. However, we hadn’t met before." Going further she revealed the hidden connection they share. She added, “Also, I had to put fewer efforts from my side to make a connection with Paras as we had several things in common. He belongs to Vrindavan and my parents go there every month for 20 years. We used to talk about wahan ki tikki, wahan ke chaat, chole bhature, etc.” (Don't Miss: Throwback Music Video Of Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, And Tiger Shroff With Their Dads)
However, in the same interview, the actress also talked about the one thing that disappointed her during her time on the show, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. Aanchal revealed, “After the advent of social media, nobody cares about what work you’ve done in the past or how well you performed. People are only concerned about their social media followers. When I entered the show, not a single person asked me about my work but the question which popped up every time was how many followers I had. I was a bit taken aback by this initially.” No wonder, Instagram followers have become a major worrying thing for the actors, who spend most of their time in polishing their craft of acting. In recent years, we have seen a huge debate on this and a lot of celebrities have shown their concern on the fact that actors are getting over-shadowed by the influencers slowly and steadily and the game is just about Instagram followers. However, there’s no doubt to the fact that most of the influencers are common people and don’t have any godfather in the industry that is the reason, why their hard work too cannot be judged and neglected.
At the end of her interview, the actress was asked about her plans of entering into the Bollywood industry. On which she stated, “Right now I would prefer to stick to television. I am not at all comfortable with doing intimate or bold scenes. Also, there’s a lot of competition out there in Bollywood. I’ve mostly done negative roles and it becomes difficult for the audience to accept me as a positive character. Once a character is stuck in their mind, it becomes tough to change it. This is wrong but Tulsi hai toh Tulsi he he rahegi, kabhi Komolika nahi ban sakti and Komolika kabhi Tulsi nahi ban sakti. It’s also destiny I believe and if I get a chance I will give it a thought.” (Also Read: Chahatt Khanna Reveals The Challenges She Is Facing As A Single Mother During The COVID-19 Lockdown)
