Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's home took four years to be made. It is located in Billionaires Row in Mumbai, and according to a report by Architectural Digest India, its construction started in 2005 and ended in 2010. It is also reported that at that time, it cost them around USD 1 billion. It is 27 storeys high with a 400,000-square-foot structure.

Antilia is named after a mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean

Ambani's family home is named Antilia. For those who don't know, Antilia is named after a mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean. According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's home is the most expensive private residence in the world.

Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani's first power bill from 2010

It was in February 2010, when Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani shifted to Antilia, after four years of its construction work. However, its bill left the entire nation surprised in 2010. Judging by the massive size of the building and the high-end facilities it has, it requires an octane electrical connection. In 2010, the first power bill of Antilia surfaced in the media. Within just one month, Antilia consumed around 6,37,240 units of electricity and generated a power bill of Rs. 70,69,488.

Antilia has three helipads, a temple, a healthcare centre and more

The architectural marvel designed for Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, featured lotus and sun motifs. Every floor of the building is uniquely designed. The building also includes three helipads, and it has a parking area for 168 cars, a swimming pool, a spa, a healthcare centre, a temple, a terrace garden, nine elevators and more.

Mukesh Ambani earlier lived with his brother, Anil Ambani in their family home

Before 2010, Mukesh Ambani and his family lived in the same building as his brother, Anil Ambani. The home is called 'Sea Wind', where Anil Ambani still lives with his family and his mother, Kokilaben Ambani. The Sea Wind is about 19-storey high and located in Cuffe Parade, at the southernmost tip of Mumbai. It was constructed under the guidance of Dhirubhai Ambani, who called it his home. However, it is worth mentioning that the building doesn't have any high-speed elevators and certainly not enough garage space for 168 cars.
