Popular television actress, Munmun Dutta became a household name after she portrayed the role of 'Babita Iyer' in the popular show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The Bong beauty rules many hearts, courtesy of her acting spree and sartorial choices. However, she is hitting the headlines for her ugly encounter with a certain section of paps on the red carpet of an award function.
For the event, Munmun Dutta opted for a neon green-hued satin dress, which she paired with shiny silver danglers. The actress accentuated her look with a top bun hairdo and flaunted her signature hair bangs as she posed on the red carpet. Glam makeup, glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

During her interaction with the paparazzi, she heard some people talking unpleasantly about her behind her back. This incident put her off, and the actress chose to address the issue being her fearless self. Munmun lashed out at the paps and said:
"Aur yeh jo peeche se comments karte hain jo sunai deta hai baad mein inko videos mein woh comments karna band kare...jo behuda peeche se comments karte hain. Woh community aisi ho gayi aaj kal."
Some time back, the media galleries were churning the reports that Munmun Dutta was dating her co-star, Raj Anadkat. Munmun and Raj were said to be in a relationship for a long time, enough that their families were involved. Moreover, the alleged couple was trolled by a section of society for their age gap of nine years, whereas others had turned social media into a meme fest. However, Munmun slammed the gossipmongers for spreading fake news and shut the rumours once and for all.

Talking about Munmun Dutta's career, she stepped into the entertainment industry as a model and even worked in the fashion industry for some time. After her successful stint in modelling, Munmun made her debut in television with the show, Hum Sab Baraati. Her performance in the show impressed one of the show's lead actors, Dilip Joshi, who later recommended her name to the makers of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
