Now, it has hit an all-time high, especially after his candid revelations in the recently released trailer of The Rana Daggubati Show. The trailer gave a sneak peek into the actor’s idea of a family, as he prepares for his December wedding.
On November 15, 2024, a trailer for the much-anticipated talk show was released, featuring Rana Daggubati as the host. The show promises a fresh and interactive take on the lives of celebrities and their unheard stories. Rana’s talk show will feature a wide range of celebrity guests, including Naga Chaitanya aka Chay, Nani, Dulquer Salmaan, S.S. Rajamouli, Sree Leela, and Rishab Shetty.
In a segment of the trailer, Rana was seen asking Naga Chaitanya about his version of an ‘ideal family’. Without hesitation, Chay responds by saying:
“Happily married, with a couple of kids.”
Naga Chaitanya’s simple reply sparked excitement among fans who are gushing to see the actor embark on his married life with Sobhita. The lovebirds are reportedly going to tie the knot in December 2024. Meanwhile, the first episode of The Rana Daggubati Show will premiere on Prime Video on November 23.

The news of the engagement came into the limelight after Naga’s father, Nagarjuna announced the joyous news on his social media. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), Nagarjuna shared pictures of his son’s engagement with the caption:
“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m. We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Speculations surrounding Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding date and location have been rife for quite a while now, especially after the beginning of their pre-wedding festivities. However, recent reports confirmed that the couple is getting hitched in December 2024, at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad, which was founded by Naga’s late grandfather and actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Earlier, on October 21, 2024, Sobhita posted glimpses of her Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam ceremony in Visakhapatnam, where she stunned in a traditional silk saree and gold jewellery. This ceremony officially kickstarted their wedding rituals with the grinding of haldi.
For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but parted ways in 2021. With some fans slamming the actor for marrying Sobhita and spreading rumours about his family’s doubts, Naga’s mother shared a cryptic note on her Instagram stories. Her note said:
