After he parted ways from his former wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, rumours surfaced in the media stating that the Telugu actor has been dating actress, Sobhita Dhulipala. At present, there are reports suggesting that the couple is all set to get engaged. However, it is worth noting that neither of the duo has officially confirmed their relationship.
On August 7, 2024, the media portal, The Great Andhra broke the news that Naga and Sobhita are getting engaged on Thursday, August 8, 2024. A reliable source who is close to the actor's family revealed to the media portal that after their engagement, Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, would announce their wedding soon after the engagement. Meanwhile, a report in Hindustan Times shared complete details about the ceremony.

A source has exclusively told HT that Chaitanya and Sobhita's engagement ceremony will be a private and intimate one and will take place at Nagarjuna's home on the evening of August 8, 2024. Moreover, Chaitanya's family and Sobhita's parents will be present for the ceremony. The source was quoted as saying:
"Yes, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting engaged on Thursday evening. The ceremony will be a very private and intimate one and will take place at Nagarjuna’s home in the evening. Nagarjuna is likely to be the one who will share the news first on social media."
For the uninitiated, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. After four blissful years of marriage, the couple publicly announced their decision to part ways in October 2021. If reports are to be believed, Chaitanya has been dating Sobhita for the last couple of years since his divorce from Samantha.
