While the reports about Naga and Sobhita's lowkey wedding are yet to be confirmed, they are quite believable given the pair's secret engagement. In fact, the couple did not even officially make an announcement. It was Naga's father, Nagarjuna, who took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to inform everyone about the happy news. His post read:
"It went very very well. Only the immediate family was there... Sobhita's parents and sister. Chay's mother was there, of course. My wife, Amala, was there. That's it. We chose this day because it is very auspicious. Both families consulted the Nakshatras, and when we were told August 8 was a very auspicious day, we decided to go ahead with it."

Sobhita was spotted celebrating Diwali with Naga Chaitanya and his loved ones in Hyderabad. A photo posted by the chef who cooked for the Akinneni family on the occasion showed the couple along with Nagarjuna, Akil Akinneni, and Amala Akinneni.
