Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhupila made their first public appearance as a couple. The duo were all smiles as they attended the ANR National Awards 2024. While Naga wore a dark blue suit and radiated dapper vibes, his fiancee, Sobhita, arrived on the red carpet, donning a light green saree.
Sobhita kept her look soft and subtle with her hair left open. The gorgeousness was seen posing with Naga Chaitanya for a family picture. For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya's father, Chiranjeevi, was felicitated by Amitabh Bachchan at the prestigious award ceremony. Famous celebrities like Ram Charan and Nagarjuna Akkineni attended the event, among others.
According to a report by India Today, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have begun their wedding preparations. They plan to get married in the first week of December 2024. Earlier, there were claims that the couple had chosen a picturesque location in Rajasthan. There are also claims that Chaitanya wants to have a simpler wedding this time. Sobhita shared glimpses of her Godhuma Raayi ceremony. It was a beautiful pre-wedding ceremony for which Sobhita wore a pink Kanjiavaram silk saree gifted to her by Chaitanya's mother, Lakshmi Daggubati. The bride-to-be radiated the old-world charm in the pretty pink saree with green-toned glass bangles.
Exactly two years ago, Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya's dating rumours surfaced on the internet. Their fans instantly found similarities between their solo pictures from the same vacation spot. Naga Chaitanya, who was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, became a target of fan hate after he announced his separation. To keep his relationship away from the public wrath, Naga Chaitanya kept denying his relationship with Sobhita and vice versa.
For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, broke the news about his son's engagement. He took his X handle and shared photos of the soon-to-be married couple, and shared that at 9:42 in the morning, the couple's engagement ceremony was completed. He expressed excitement about welcoming Sobhita to his family. He wrote:
