Naga Chaitanya got divorced from his ex-wife, Samantha Prabhu. Read on to know as the actor talked about getting bored of talking about his personal life!
There was a time when Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were considered the 'it' couple. They had painted the town red with their mushy PDAs, and they had many fan clubs. Samantha and Chaitanya also had a hashtag, 'ChaySam'. However, last year, millions of her hearts were broken, when they had announced their separation.
For those who don't know, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had first met on the sets of their hit film, Yeh Maaya Chesave. They had developed an instant liking, but they had not fallen in love at that time. Instead, their dating speculations had started in 2015 when they were spotted together. Finally, on October 7, 2017, Samantha and Chaitanya tied the knot.

Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Chaitanya talked about how he has gotten bored of news written about his separation from Samantha Prabhu. The actor shared that the chapter is over as they both are leading happy lives. Chaitanya also stated that he has tremendous respect for his ex-wife, Samantha. He said:
"We both came out and put our statements and we both have immense respect for each other. I always look up to what she is doing. And there will always be great respect for her. That's about it. We said what we have too. Beyond that, it's just people trying to fill up columns and there's nothing else. I mean I'm bored of it. I have been through three releases and I'm still attached to it."
When Samantha had appeared on Koffee With Karan 7, she had talked about her ex-husband, Chaitanya. When Karan asked Samantha whether the two of them have hard feelings for each other, the actress confessed it. She shared that they can't be in one room without hurting each other. Samantha said that they both have a lot of hard feelings for each other. She had said:
"There are hard feelings like if you put the both of us in a room you have to hide sharp objects. So as of now, yes. It's not an amicable situation right now. It might be in the future."
In the same interview, Samantha talked about going through all the negativity and hate comments during the separation. She said that she couldn't complain about it as she was transparent from the beginning and once they parted ways, she didn't have any answers. She said:
"I can't complain about it because I chose that path to be transparent and when the separation happened I couldn't be too upset about it because they invested in my life. I didn't had answers at that time."
On the work front, Chaitanya is soon going to make his Bollywood debut with his film, Laal Singh Chaddha!
