Naga Chaitanya again got slammed by the netizens and Samantha's fans after he said that he made the first move on Sobhita Dhulipala with 'pleasure'.
Naga Chaitanya is a famous actor in the entertainment world. Along with his professional life, Chaitanya's personal life grabs an equal amount of limelight often. For the unversed, he was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. After their divorce, he was linked with Sobhita Dhulipala, with whom he is now married. Chaitanya has often received a whole lot of hate despite clearing the fact that he and Sobhita came close much later than his split with Samantha. Now, again, he got slammed as he revealed that he was the first one to make the move on Sobhita.
A few months after Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's split took place, a photo of the actor with Sobhita Dhulipala got leaked, and it caused an uproar, giving people the idea that the actor might have cheated on his first wife. Both Chaitanya and Sobhita were trolled. Later, Chaitanya clarified that it was nothing like that, and he and Samantha parted ways on mutual terms. Now, Sobhita and Chaitanya are married but still, the trolling isn't stopping.
A video recently made rounds on social media, wherein Sobhita and Chaitanya were asked who made the first move in their relationship. To this, Sobhita said it was the actor, and he agreed, while adding that 'with pleasure'. This didn't go down well with the netizens and Samantha's fans, who started trolling Chaitanya again.
Reacting to the video, netizens slammed Naga Chaitanya as they still believed that the actor might have cheated on his first wife, and thus, him saying 'with pleasure' was simply 'unacceptable'. On the other hand, some users stated that there's no such issue, as, by the time he made a move on Sobhita, he had divorced Samantha. One user commented, "Relationships only work if a MAN loves more." Another user penned, "And she accepted the first move made by an already married man." A third user took to the comment section and wrote, "How can a guy cheat on Samantha? SAMANTHA????"
Talking to The New York Times, Sobhita and Chaitanya shared their beautiful love story. The actress and the actor first met in 2018 at Nagarjuna's house, but they talked briefly. Later, their conversation began in 2022, a year after the actor's divorce from Samantha. It was Sobhita who started following Chaitanya on IG and started talking over an IG story of the actor. Later, they bonded over the Telugu language. Their conversation was then followed by a coffee date in Mumbai and a few meet-ups after that. It was in August 2024, when Chaitanya proposed marriage to Sobhita in Goa.
