Just a day after engagement, Naga Chaitanya was spotted at the Hyderabad airport without his fiancee, Sobhita Dhulipala.
Popular Telugu actor, Naga Chaitanya surprised everyone with his sudden engagement to the actress, Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple exchanged rings in the presence of their respective families on August 8, 2024, in Hyderabad. Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna Akkineni announced his son's engagement on social media on the same day.
Just a day after the engagement, Chaitanya was spotted at the Hyderabad airport. The newly engaged actor was seen wearing a crisp black shirt, brown trousers, and uber-cool sunglasses. He completed his look by adding not one but two watches. In a paparazzi video, we also got a slight glimpse of his engagement ring.

On August 8, 2024, Nagarjuna took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and shared two ethereal glimpses of the newly engaged couple, Chaitanya and Sobhita. Sharing the post, he welcomed his to-be-bahu with his open arms in his family. Wishing them a life full of happiness, the overjoyed father wrote:
"We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."
In the pictures from their engagement, Sobhita looked drop-dead gorgeous in a pink-hued silk saree from the shelves of Manish Malhotra. She paired the saree with a matching blouse and opted for sleek pieces of gold jewellery to complete her look. Meanwhile, her fiance, Chaitanya, wore an ivory-hued white kurta-pyjama and a matching doshala.

For the uninitiated, prior to getting engaged with Sobhita Dhulipala, Naga Chaitanya was married to the South Indian beauty, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They got married in 2017, and after four blissful years of marriage, Chaitanya and Samantha parted ways. Meanwhile, the Telugu actor started dating Sobhita just a few months after finalising his divorce.
