Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on December 4, 2024, in front of their close family members and friends. On December 6, 2024, the couple made their first public appearance together as a married couple. They were seen walking towards Srisailam Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh to seek the blessings of the Almighty.
In a video that has gone viral, Chay could be seen clad in a white dhoti and kurta with a golden border. Sobhita wore an orange saree with a red border that looked exquisite. She wore a bindi, a few bangles, and necklaces. Chay's dad and Sobhita's father-in-law, Nagarjuna Akkineni, also accompanied the newly married couple. It looked like they had a divine experience and were blessed as the pictures revealed that the trio was applied tikka by the panditji of the temple.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, was the first one who posted pictures on X from Sobhita and Chay's wedding ceremony. He wrote an emotional note for the couple and also spoke about the importance of the wedding ceremony being held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. It was established by Nagarjuna’s late dad, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Nagarjuna’s post read:
"This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR garu’s statue, installed to mark his centenary year. It feels as though his love and guidance are present with us in every step of this journey.”
Even the official Instagram handle of Annapurna Studios dropped a beautiful picture of the couple that had Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s statue in the backdrop. In the caption, Sobhita and Chay were congratulated, hoping for a memorable journey ahead
The couple, who got engaged in August 2024, still need to post pictures from their intimate lavish wedding. The couple's engagement took place at Nagarjuna's home in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Since the pair got engaged, they posted a monochrome picture on Instagram, where they were seen sitting on a swing. Sobhita and Chay looked lost in love, and the caption on their post read:
"What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting. –From Kurunthogai, translated by A K Ramanujan."
Sobhita looked ethereal in a golden-hued kanjivaram saree for the wedding ritual. She completed her look with gajra, alta, traditional exquisite jewellery and mehendi. Chay, on the other hand, embraced his Telugu traditions. He wore a pancha and a kurta for his special day. The couple kept their relationship private for the longest time. It was only after their engagement that they made their relationship official.
