Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's picture goes viral, where they were seen spending time with their set of buddies.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024. Their wedding had created a lot of buzz and photos from their intimate wedding ceremony had become viral instantly. The pair have not made many social appearances after their marriage. However, it looked on January 11, 2025, Sobhita and Chay had a relaxed time with their set of friends.
Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are known to keep a low profile on social media. However, today on January 11, 2025 they were seen enjoying a relaxing time with their set of buddies. The picture was posted by actor, Sushanth Anumolu where Chay and Sobhita were seen enjoying the get-together. As seen in the snap, Naga Chaitanya had worn a simple brown hoodie, while Sobhita flaunted her curves in a maroon sleeveless dress. The newly married couple did not pose together but the smile on their face revealed that they had a blast at the casual gathering with their friends.
Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna had once revealed in an interview with the Times Of India, how he played cupid between his son and Sobhita. Nagarjuna shared he was praising Sobhita for her role in Goodachari when Chay had walked in. Nagarjuna had said:
"I invited her to meet me the next time she was in Hyderabad. She later came home to meet me, and we had some wonderful conversations"—not just about films but life in general. Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that's when they met for the first time, if I remember correctly."
It was in August 2024 that the couple had a hush-hush private engagement and on December 4, 2024, they got married in front of their family and friends in traditional Telugu style. Sobhita had worn a stunning golden-hued Uppada silk saree that had zari work done in gold giving it a royal touch. She wore a same golden-coloured blouse for her engagement function. Draped in a medley of textiles specially sourced from the weaving communities of Andhra Pradesh, Sobhita was keen that this personal moment reflect her roots and pay homage to its rich tradition.
Naga Chaitanya's dad, Nagarjuna shared the first wedding pictures of his son and daughter-in-law, Sobhita. He had penned a sweet caption that spoke about how watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for him. He congratulated Chay and welcomed 'dear Sobhita' to the family. The remaining part of his post read:
"Sobhita–you've already brought so much happiness into our lives. This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR Garu's statue, installed to mark his centenary year. It feels as though his love and guidance are present with us at every step of this journey. I thank the countless blessings showered upon us today with gratitude."
