Nagarjuna Akkineni and his family are currently on cloud nine as his son, Naga Chaitanya, has found love again in his life. The actor, who was previously married to actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has now got engaged to his ladylove, Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8, 2024. If reports are to be believed, the duo has been secretly dating each other since 2021. Now, Nagarjuna expressed his happiness about Chaitanya's new beginnings and shared a heartfelt note.
Taking to X, Nagarjuna Akkineni dropped two pictures from Chaitanya and Sobhita's engagement ceremony and penned a beautiful note. The loving father shared the details of the duo's engagement, which took place at 9:42 am and also welcomed Sobhita into their family. He wished the couple a lifetime of love and happiness and wrote:
“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."

However, the last part of Nagarjuna's caption grabbed our attention, as he mentioned 8.8.8 in it. For those who don't know, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala marked their new beginnings on the 8th of August, i.e. the eighth month of the year. Moreover, upon adding the digits of the current year, i.e., 2024, we get 8. The number 8 symbolises infinity. This is the reason why 8.8.8 holds a special significance in Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita's lives, as it marks the beginning of their infinite love.
For the ceremony, Sobhita Dhulipala opted for a peach-hued silk saree with intricate embroidery on the borders. She paired it with a matching embellished blouse with check prints on it. A gajra-adorned low bun, subtle makeup, and a small bindi accentuated her look. Sobhita also wore traditional gold jewellery, which included dainty neckpieces, a pair of jhumkas and some bangles. Chaitanya, on the other hand, donned a white kurta and a matching doshala.

If reports are to be believed, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been dating each other ever since the former parted ways with his ex-wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
