Satyanarayan Nuwal is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Solar Industries India Limited.

For the uninitiated, Satyanarayan Nuwal's career began when he started working in a small chemicals and trading firm, but unfortunately, it was closed soon. After losing his job, he crossed paths with an explosive license bearer named Abdul Sattar Allah Bhai, who introduced Satyanarayan to the world of explosives. It was in 1970 when Satyanarayan started his own business related to explosives, and in the following years, he went on to become one of India's leading explosives dealers.

After working in the explosives industry for many years, in 1995, Satyanarayan Nuwal laid the foundation of his company, Solar Industries India Limited in Nagpur. As time passed, Solar Industries started operating in 65 countries, and as of now, it is offering products related to industrial explosives and explosive-initiating devices. From grenades, drones, warheads, and propellants to motors for space, integration of rockets and many more, Solar Industries is aligned with the Make in India mission. According to a report in DNA, Satyanarayan Nuwal's Solar Industries India Limited has a market capitalisation of Rs. 92,000 crore.

Satyanarayan Nandlal Nuwal was born into a modest family from Rajasthan's Bhilwara. Due to financial constraints, he dropped out of school after class 10 and started working to support his family. At the age of 18, he opened an ink production plant. Although his first business venture failed miserably, he learnt many things about business. In the year after he turned 19, he got married. Although his wife's name isn't available in the public domain, the billionaire business tycoon prefers to keep his personal details private.
