Nakuul Mehta's sister, Pracchi Mehta Shah wished her nephew, Sufi Mehta on his first birthday. She shared an unseen picture of him sleeping peacefully in her arms when he was a newborn.
Nakuul Mehta and his wife, Jankee Parekh Mehta had welcomed a baby boy on February 3, 2021, whom they have named Sufi Mehta. To announce the ‘good news’, the elated parents, Nakuul and Jankee had given a partial glimpse of their baby boy and had captioned their posts as "February 3, 2021 This is Us Grateful and sleepy in equal measure. *Ing: @jank_ee/@nakuulmehta & Him" respectively.
It was after seven months of Sufi’s birth, on September 3, 2021, when his parents, Nakuul and Jankee had introduced him to the world, revealing his face. With his blonde hair, blue eyes and chubby pink cheeks, Sufi had instantly become a social media sensation. Nakuul and Jankee had captioned the video as:
"Hi, I am Sufi and I am 7 months old today. It’s so nice to finally meet you. P.S. Letting my folks share this on my behalf ‘cause I got cool things to do!"

A while back, Nakuul Mehta’s sister, Pracchi Mehta Shah shared an adorable video on her IG stories to wish her nephew, Sufi Mehta on his first birthday. While the video was a compilation of her moments with Sufi, the best one was the first picture, where then-newborn Sufi can be seen sleeping peacefully in his bua’s arms. Sufi can be seen wearing a brown-coloured outfit and sleeping with his mouth open as Pracchi gave support to his neck. Sharing the adorable moment, Pracchi wrote:
“Ur the Best Boy in the whole wide World. U bring so much joy and love to everyone @babysufim.”
Almost three months after the birth of Sufi Mehta, Jankee Parekh Mehta had shared her childbirth experience, revealing that she had opted for a C-section delivery. Sharing pictures from the labour room with just-born, Sufi and her hubby, Nakuul Mehta, Jankee had written:
"I often wonder how would it be if I was to have a normal delivery. Yes, I would have had to go through hours of labour pain before giving birth and also a quicker recovery as I am told by many of my friends and family members, but would it be any more joyful and fulfilling? Like many mothers, I delivered my son Sufi through a Cesarean birth on the 3rd of February 2021."

Writing about sharing the first-hand experiences holding hubby, Nakuul Mehta's hand and calling it 'beautiful and joyful', Jankee Parekh Mehta continued:
"I may not have experienced labour pain & contractions of a normal delivery but having my partner by my side holding my hand, him witnessing my abdomen being cut open & a new life being pulled out of it, to him cutting my umbilical cord were all things that I got to experience first hand through his eyes. This shared experience for us was so beautiful and joyful that I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I was so fortunate to have had the best set of hands taking care of me right from my gynaecologist Dr. Drupti Dedhia, to my anaesthetist & all the nurses at Surya Hospital. But more than anything else, just to be able to experience the birth of Sufi alongside Nakuul, has truly been the most fulfilling moment in our journey together as a couple & also the most exhilarating 15 mins of our lives."
Happy birthday to Sufi Mehta!
