We are living in strange times as we have no idea how we will fight the Coronavirus pandemic. Almost the entire world is trying to fight this highly contagious, life-threatening virus. In India, what started with a 21-day lockdown, has now been increased to over 50 days. For the first time ever, the roads are deserted, schools are shut, offices are closed and it seems like time has paused. It feels strange to see masked people with protected gloves on and dreaming of a 'normal life' seems to be a far-fetched dream. Just like all of us, celebrities are also finding it hard to get used to the quarantine as the next phase of lockdown will start after May 17, 2020. Amidst it, television's favourite actor, Nakuul Mehta shared a grumpy picture with wife, Jankee Parekh from 'Pre-Corona days'. The increasing COVID-19 cases and death tolls around the world have taken a toll on everyone's mental health, plus the lockdown has made it hard to accept the reality. And Nakuul is also trying to get used to the lockdown and he often shares snippets of how he is spending his quarantine with wife, Jankee. On May 13, 2020, Nakuul took to his Instagram handle and shared yet another adorable picture with wife, Jankee. However, it was his grumpy expression that made the picture look cuter. Alongside it, the actor wrote, "Grumpy Sharma Ki Dulhaniya @jank_ee #OnceUponATimeInPreCoronaDays." Take a look at it below:
In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Nakuul had talked about how he had met his love of life. He had said, "My first thought when I saw Jankee was, ‘How amazing would life be, if she agreed to marry me.’ I was only 18 but my instincts told me, she was the one. We were both training with Shiamak–I saw her there for the first time. I was also interning at BSE & remember travelling from there to Andheri, strategising an opening line." He had further added, "Finally, I gathered the courage & asked her, ‘Do you have a name?’ Her look said, ‘What do you mean, do you have a name?’ But she just said, ‘Jankee’. After that, it took me 2 months to get her number! We talked every night for 6 months before I asked her out. I went to her house with a bouquet & a card–cheesy, I know! But all she said was, ‘I’ll call you.’ Then she called & said, ‘I don’t see you like that.’ It was a no go–but I continued to be her friend despite how hard it was."
