Namita Thapar walked out of the show, 'Shark Tank India 2', after an ugly fight with a fellow shark, Anupam Mittal.
Namita Thapar of Shark Tank Indian 2 has been making headlines, because of her ugly fight with Anupam Mittal. In the new promo, Namita was seen pointing a finger at Anupam Mittal and telling him on national television to keep his ego in check. For those who don't know, Namita Thapar is the executive director of the Indian multinational pharmaceutical company, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited.
In the upcoming episode of Shark Tank India 2, the sharks landed into an ugly fight on national television. However, things got a bit out of control after Namita Thapar walked out of the show after shouting at Anupam Mittal. It all started over a pitch for the home furnishing brand, Netroots. In the promo of the show, a woman was seen introducing her brand to the sharks, which s into kitchen, dining and decor solutions. The sharks were impressed with the brand.

The first ones to give her an offer were Vineeta and Anupam. They offered Rs. 65 lakhs for 4% equity. Aman was angry that Vineeta never teamed up with him. Anupam intervened and said that he doesn't give value but only shows off his hero style.
However, it was Peyush, who changed the game by offering Rs. 65 lakhs for just 1% equity. As Namita Thapar was about to say her point, Anupam said:
"It doesn't matter what you think yaar."
Namita got furious with his words, and she left the show. She shouted at Anupam and left her chair. She was quoted as saying:
"Not okay, you need to keep your ego in check."
Earlier, Namita Thapar had talked about being body shamed. The businesswoman had revealed that her classmates used to make fun of her facial hair and weight. They used to call her names like moti and moustache girl. They used to make fun of her weight. Not only this, but Namita also talked about suffering from an emotional eating disorder while she was studying abroad.
