Nargis Fakhri confessed about her relationship with actor, Uday Chopra and revealed that the two had dated for five years.
Known for her glamorous roles, Nargis Fakhri had made her Bollywood debut in Ranbir Kapoor starrer romantic drama, Rockstar. She was also nominated with the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2014, it was reported that Nargis was in a relationship with actor, Uday Chopra and the two were rumoured to get married soon.
In 2017, the reports of Uday and Nargis's break-up had hit the headlines. It was said that Nargis was so grieved over their break-up, that she had left for her hometown, New York, overnight, leaving behind all her work. In May 2018, Nargis had started dating filmmaker, Matt Alonzo, but in 2019, they had ended their relationship.

In an interview with The Times of India, Nargis Fakhri confessed to dating Uday Chopra for five years and called him the most beautiful man. Nargis also revealed why she never talked about their relationship in public and said, "Uday and I dated for 5 years and he was the most beautiful human I met in India. I never have said this to the press as people told me to keep my relationship quiet."
Nargis also revealed that she regrets her decision and stated, "I regret that because I should have shouted from the mountain tops that I was with such a beautiful soul. The internet and social media is very fake and the people out there won't know what the truth is. Most often we idolise certain people who are actually bad behind closed doors."

When the reports of Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri dating one another had started doing the rounds in the media in 2014, the actress had rubbished the reports. In a 2016 interview with The Indian Express, Nargis was asked if she was dating Uday Chopra. To this, she had replied, “Am I really dating? Interesting you ask me. Uday Chopra is a person who will be a part of my life for the rest of my life. He is the most amazing human being who I have ever met in my entire life not just in India but around the world. If anyone is his friend that person is lucky to have him in his life.”
After their breakup, Nargis had left India, but Uday had a tough time getting over her. Uday, who is very active on social media, had tweeted some emotional lines which had hinted that he was missing his ex-girlfriend, Nargis Fakhri. The tweet that he posted could be read as “I wish I could love with the same intensity I used to love a few years ago. There was this girl and I felt alive just loving her. I’ve lost that now. I just want that passion back. Maybe that’s all I need.”

For the unversed, Nargis is currently dating American chef, Justin Santos.
