One such bride is Ex Miss India USA, Natasha Arora who broke the odds to modernize the old trends of wearing traditional gold kalires. We have often seen brides wearing kalires made of gold, silver, ornamental, ghunghroo, kundan and gota patti. But, what someone has not even thought about is floral kalire, which Natasha chose to wear on her wedding day. Truly this girl has given the brides-to-be some #kaliregoals!

She managed to look graceful by wearing kalire in only one hand, which were of unusual length and were mixed in with the varieties of white roses. We just can’t stop swooning over the fact that her hassle-free kailres remained untangled throughout the ceremony and looked much in place.

The Penn-educated analyst marriage with the Berkely-educated attorney, was just like a fairytale one. The bride, who also won Miss India USA has her own fashion label ‘BZAI by Natasha Arora’. The picture-perfect wedding celebrations took place in Natasha’s hometown. From the décor to her floral accessories and outfit, her mehendi ceremony had a very bohemian vibe.

She made sure that her outfits, accessories and the wedding décor transcend the trending fashion. She wore the beautiful pink wedding lehenga that she designed for herself and her look was extremely chic! In an interview with WeddingSutra, Natasha talked about the reason behind choosing the floral kalire.

"My wedding lehenga's skirt featured baby pink vegan leather stitched into hundreds of florets, while the top was a full, beadwork blouse. There were two dupattas – one for my head and the other with the beadwork to mirror the floral design draped over my body. Instead of wearing the traditional Punjabi gold 'kalire' (bridal bangles with tassels), I knew I wanted something softer. We went for white roses, jasmine, and a variety of other white flowers mixed in. Sandeep wore a sherwani from Gujral Sons that matched perfectly with my outfit.”
